The City of Rogers has an active senior community with a variety of ongoing programs and special events.

Come play billiards for free & hangout with other pool players at the senior center every week on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. and Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. The pool table is available to use anytime the senior center is open and there is not a special event scheduled during that time.
Great Decisions: Global Discussion Group
2019 topics began on Wednesday, April 17 and include this year’s topics include: global migration, middle east, nuclear negotiations, nationalism in Europe, trade with china, cyber conflict, U.S. & Mexico, and state of diplomacy. If you would like to participate in this monthly global discussion group, please pick up a Great Decisions book at the Senior Center for $35. The book is used to educate yourself on the topic before each of the 8 meeting dates. The group meets the third Wednesday of each month (April-Nov) at 9:30 a.m. and each meeting begins by watching a half hour documentary on the topic before discussing as a group. Many discussions will be led by a local expert, who will present and answer questions on the topic. Please call 763-428-0939 with any questions.

Cost: Free for SilverSneakers members. Non-members only pay $1 per class. Your first class is free!
There will be no floor work. Chairs will be used as props throughout the workouts with the option of using adjustable wrist/ankle weights.

Join us on the first Sunday of every month for Jammers at the Rogers Community Room (21201 Memorial Drive). Live music begins at 1:00 p.m. and potluck at 4:00 p.m. Bring a food item to contribute to the potluck and enjoy the free entertainment.

Appointments available the 2nd Thursday of every month from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Meet with a State Health Insurance Counselor at the Rogers Senior Center who can provide individual assistance with Medicare, prescription drug coverage, long-term care insurance, supplemental insurance, Medicare savings programs, appeals for Medicare claims, Medicare fraud and abuse, and more!
