Request For Qualifications
The City of Rogers is seeking qualified consultant planners/planning firms to assist the City with updates to the City’s Land Development Regulations section of the City Code. The City is targeting adoption of its 2040 Comprehensive Plan on or before December 31, 2019. It is our goal to complete the zoning code update in tandem with the 2040 Plan adoption or shortly thereafter. The City desires a hybrid approach to zoning ordinances, blending traditional zoning code with form-based standards. We are using the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process to identify the consultant planner/planning firm best suited help the City accomplish this goal. Preference will be given to persons/firms with experience writing hybrid zoning codes as described above.
Qualified persons/firms interested in learning more about the project is invited to attend an optional, in-person session prior to submitting their RFQ. That session is scheduled for Friday, September 6 at 10 a.m. at Rogers City Hall, 22350 South Diamond Lake Road. RFQs are due by 12-noon on Friday, September 13.
