A permit is required for the installation of or modification to an automatic fire extinguishing system and related equipment. Maintenance/testing performed and emergency repairs are not considered to be a modification and does not require a permit.

    • Details on system components, construction features, and obstructions shall be clearly legible

    • Location of racking system

    • Location of Hazardous materials

    • Soffits

  • Hydraulic calculations

  • Manufacturer's data sheets

  • As-built plans if applicable

  • Zone map where applicable Required Inspections (Where applicable)

Required Inspections

  • Rough-in

  • Hydrostatic test

  • Air Test

  • Trip Test

  • Retard Test

  • Main Drain Test

  • Forward Flow Test

  • Standpipe Flow Test

  • Final Inspection
