2040 Comprehensive Plan Nearing Completion

The City is preparing for the final stages of its 2040 Comprehensive Plan – approval and adoption. For the past several months our neighboring communities and partner organizations – Elk River, Buffalo and Osseo area school districts, Hennepin and Wright counties, Three Rivers Park District, Elm Creek Watershed District, MnDOT and MnDNR – reviewed and provided comment on our draft 2040 Plan. In May, the Planning Commission and City Council will finalize their review of the Plan and authorize its submittal to the Metropolitan Council.
