Rogers Officers Using new Vitals App

Rogers Police use the Vitals app on their cell phones to create safer interactions with people living with invisible and visible conditions and disabilities. The service allows a vulnerable person to register online, then wear a beacon that takes the form of a keychain, necklace, debit card or bracelet. When a vitals users comes within 80 feet of a Rogers officer, the officer will get a notification about the person’s diagnosis and how they may best interact with them. To learn more on how you can register yourself or a loved one, visit www.thevitalsapp.com.
