Civil Project Engineer
The primary objective of this full time professional position is to coordinate various aspects of project development and construction activities associated with public improvement projects, development review and right-of-way management. Ensures conformance with City specifications, ordinances, and applicable state and federal laws. Collaborates with other City departments, outside agencies, developers, consultants, contractors and other engineers in the implementation of City projects.
$74,175 to $97,676
A Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an accredited university/college.
Minimum of four years of practical civil engineering experience, including some field experience.
Professional engineers license from the state of Minnesota, or ability to obtain one in one year.
Experience in the Minnesota DOT State Aid Program, including survey and inspection
Experience with MPCA MS4 Program
Professional civil engineering with a municipal engineering department or a consulting engineering firm working in the areas of municipal engineering.
Experience in street preservation and rehabilitation relating to plan and specification preparation, and construction.
Experience in preparing and/or reviewing plats, plans, and developer agreements for new subdivisions.
Experience working with various public agencies.
